The tournament was very well organized. I brought my teenaged grandson and had a great time
HI, Our two days there were great minus a couple of details - there could have been more food assortment choices to include something sweet. If you are not going to have water stations then do not sell bottled water at $4.75 per bottle. That was over the top in price when it was the only option. Especially since a pack of 48 bottles costs less than $4.75.... The grounds were well maintained and the volunteers and staff did an excellent job!
This was something extra. Following Hovland and Rory the last day was amazing. Hovland ending up doing 7 birdies the last 9 holes and win the tournament by two strokes was incredible. Top performance at a top event!
We had a great time! Olympia Fields was well designed and great venue. We had memories and an experience.
Everything was top notch! The parking: easy and convenient. Shuttle to the course: clean & efficient. The Tournament: Fantastic! The course was in beautiful shape and the event was well organized. We had an opportunity to be right up on the ropes on several holes and to see the Pros in action, up close! We will go back, the next time the BMW Championship is in the Chicago area!
The event was great went on a Friday prior to the extremely large crowds great access to see golfers up close my only complaint is that the food offerings were marginal at best and very limited
Golf Course was beautiful, staff was extremely friendly, everything was very organized.
The BMW event was terrific overall. Great golf, good crowds, good though pricy food selection and a great course. The biggest negative is the location selection. Getting to the course was very difficult and the parking was unbelievably miserable. Parking signage was sparse, the distances were beyond reasonable and travel and wait times were big drawbacks to the overall enjoyment of the event. Though the course was great it appears whomever choose the location was not considering the customers!
1. Loved the tournament and the golf action. I can never figure out why the PGA Tour does not have an annual Chicago event. Even LIV has figured that out. 2. We bought Trophy Club tickets, what a rip off. The bleachers were situated along the 18 fairway, with poor views of both the 18 tee shots and second shots. This was different than the description that was on the ticket web site, which was supposed to be in a tee/green area. Trophy Club purchasers should be reimbursed for the difference between Trophy Club tickets and regular grounds tickets, which I think was about $80 each. 3. The parking/shuttle bus management was poor. Lot G is huge and it took us 20-30 minutes to find our car when leaving. The shuttle bus driver did her best, but we could not figure out which dropoff point was our's given that Lot G contained acres and acres of cars.
